Term One:
This term we have been learning how to read through the use of the JOLI reading program and the Jolly Phonics program. Every day we introduce a new reading sheet at the students level, that introduces new sight words. Each week we also learn 2-3 new letter sounds and have begun learning how to sound words out, and blend these sounds to make words.

Sorry another question – what are some of the apps you have on the class iPad? Was thinking of getting some for Leo’s iPod at home 🙂
Some great apps that I have looked at, and that are on the iPad are: Comic maker, Bookabi, Puppet Pals 2, Friends of Ten, Ladybird Maths, Lunchbox and many more. Feel free to come in anytime and have a flick through the iPad and the apps we have.
